Describe Requirement item not adding to cart

Former Member

After clicking the "Add to shopping cart" icon when creating a free text item for a cart, the screen refreshes and displays the screen again but the item's not added to the cart.

All the information is still held in the fields as though i'm creating a new free text item.

We are using SRM 4.00, SRM_SERVER 500, SAPKIBKS11.

Any ideas on this one ?

Keith

Check the dumps in Trx ST22. Some times pricing error arises due to incorrect BADI implentation.

The pages aren't cached and even after refreshing the page it doesn't work..

The IPC is working fine so no short dumps...

Hello,

Did you check entry in table TWPURLSVR ?

For the SRM logical system, the web server must be set (<server>:<port number>).

The entry is indeed there...

I can create carts from catalogues and from old carts but for some reason can't add free text items.

Hi. You don't cache internet pages or anything like that on a proxy server do you? That might mean the refresh has not filtered through yet.

If you do not cache have you tried refreshing your browser with a right click and "refresh"?

Dave.

Hi. Do you get a little yellow error in the bottom left hand corner of internet explorer saying "error on page"?

It might mean the templates need re-publishing, or if they have been re-published you might need to refresh the browser by right clicking in the window and selectnig refresh.

Regards,

Dave.

There aren't any browser errors.

I'll try re-publishing the templates though as it all workd fine in our QA and PRD environment.
