Remember for form entries in SAPUI5

Hi Guru's,

in HTML5 you can use an autocomplete attribute of the INPUT field (or on a full form) which remembers the input values the user has typed before in that field. An example is shown below which I tool from w3schools.com (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_input_autocomplete.asp). Does anyone know if the same can be applied somehow through an sap.m.Input field?

<form action="demo_form.asp" autocomplete="on">
First name: <input type="text" name="fname">
Last name: <input type="text" name="lname">
E-mail: <input type="email" name="email" autocomplete="off">
<input type="submit"></form>

We have an input field for a phone number and these are not stored in SAP so the have to type (or paste) them each time but in most cases each user group uses the same phone number. So it would be great if this value of this field could be stored locally on their PC like with the autocomplete option of HTML5?

Regards

Nico
