Upgrade solution Manager 7.2 with sybase database

Team,

We have the plan to upgrade our solution Manager 7.2 from 7.1 in sybase db.

In solution Manager 7.2 MCOD is not supported.

How to split Abap & Java system and how to do the activity step by step.

Please help us to start procudures wise as per the priority
