Hi Gurus,
How do I delete an MRP Area? I tried to delete an MRP Area in SPRO but it says that Material A is using that MRP Area. So I tried to delete the MRP Area attached to the Material A thru MRP View in MM. But only deletion indicator was set.
How can i wipe the MRP Area from the system Totally? Please help
THanks!

Hi,
If you delete MRP area from material master system sets deletion indicator only. No option to wipe out. May be by archiving it is possible.
But MRP area tick will remove from material master in MRP view1.
So you can not use that MRP area after setting deletion indicator.
If you create req for that MRP area system shows error message that MRP area sets deletion indicator.

Hi,
in the mat master for that material assigned to MRP area, Try to mark del indicator inside MRP1 view (below), clicking on "MRP areas" tab.
The tick in the check box next to MRP area exists will not be present anymore after u mark del indicator.
Then in the SPRO check if the MRP area has anymore materials assigned to it by clicking the tab "Overview:materials for MRP area". Try to remove the MRP area after that.
Please let me know if it worked.
Regards
TRin
