Hi Mohammed,

It this is your SAP HANA database, you are the only one that would know.

For productive systems, in fact, SAP. recommends to deactivate the SYSTEM user, see

In other words, deactivating SYSTEM (or changing the password) has no repercussions on a running database. However, if the SYSTEM password is stored in SDA connections, for example, connecting to this database, changing the password will have an impact.

My recommendation: try to get a clear picture of what is connecting to your HANA database and how, what has been developed, etc. Document this all clearly. Implement a secure password and privileges policy (documented as well) and, ideally, deactivate SYSTEM and use lesser privileged accounts.

Does this answer your question?

Hello

Resetting sidadm has no effect on running HANA instances.

Best regards

K.

That's correct. You can change the <sid>adm password without affecting a running SAP HANA instance.
