Hi ALL,
I have got experience in PP-PI AND QM module of around one and half years. Now there is a requirement in which i need to choose between Materials Management/ Sales and distribution and Global data Management. The project in which i will be asked to work has about 60% SD related work and rest 40% consists of all other modules together.
I don't have much idea about these modules. Can anybody plz suggest which is better to chose among these 3 modules taking into consideration the future prospects.
What is the scope of GDM in future and what will be easier for me to grasp MM or SD.
Your views and suggestions regarding are most welcome.

Ameya Khanwalkar.
MM and SD both the areas are good actually. If you have some domain experience then it completely depends on your intrest how you want to take it forward.
With the experience of PP-PI and QM in MM module inventory module would be the easiest for you to understand, because inventory has close relationship and interface with all other modules.
Working with PP-PI, QM, MM and SD module you can become a Supply chain expert.
Hope this helps you.

Hi ,
Thanks for the suggestion. My domain experience is of 3.3 years in Production planning & Control.
Also i have heard that there are lot many people as SD/MM consultant as compared to PP/QM consultant. Is that so ?
So can anyone advice if it is better to stay with PP/QM or to gain some sort of hands on MM/Sd as well
Thanks
Ameya K.
