Hi all!
In the replenishment process for a fixed storage bin, is there a possibility to have the Storage Life Expiration Date (SLED) in count? I mean, my client wants the system to create TO's (for replenishment) but with the oldest Expiration Date in batch. He replenishes from excess area to hand pick area. The system should always take materials for replenishment from the batch that expires first.
We are using SAP ECC 6.0.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Try out the stock removal strategy LIFO( last in first out) in the warehouse management will work for ur scenario?????

Thanks for your reply.
I believe I can´t use LIFO strategy in the storage type, since Shelf Life Expiration Date "H" was requested for stock removal. This strategy permits my client to sell his products with closest expiration date. LIFO would not let me use this functionality. So, SLED strategy works fine with pickings, but doesn´t work in the same way with replenishments. Is there any other alternative?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Example scenario for your case:
210 (High Rack Storage Area) -
> 920 (Picking Storage Area)
The SA 210 should replenish the SA 920 if I am not wrong.
In SA 210 Stock removal strategy should be 'H' that is SLED.
Material master WM views you maintain the data like Storage Type Indicator 210 for removal and Replenishment Data (Fix Bin, Min, Max, Rep Stock)
DO is created, Against that DO the TO is ceated and confirmed and suppose the stock gets below the Min Stock. Now there are two reports RLLNACH1(LP21) and RLLNACH2(LP22)
RLLNACH1(LP21) - Simply replenish the Picking SA
RLLNACH2(LP22) - Replenish by taking DO quanity into consideration.
Lets use LP21 here. When we run the LP21, the system will check the stock in 920 SA and it will find that stock is below the Min and it will throw the TR for Replenishment Quantity. Now this TR can be coverted to TO manually or automatically. Hope this works
