Error Client Copy

Dear All.

I successfully Installed SAP 4.7 IDES/Oracel and want to create a new client.

i am using transaction SCCL , and making a test run.

an error messsage appears.

"The client copy you started has terminated

An exit program has terminated."

Appreciate any help.

there you will find the logs

Hi brian,

For downloading the notes to ur PC,u need to maintain the SAPOSS rfc connection.for that

go to sm59>connection type 3 ie abap connection>search for saposs>edit that saposs>in the technical settings tab maintain ur router system installed ip and the sap router ip-->and in logon and security tab maintain the the user and password.click connection test.connection should be ok.

and also go to OSS1 t code.from the menu>parameter>technical settings-->maintain ur router and sap router.

now try download.

Hi Brian,

I thing you are doing somting wrong at the tiem of copy. Have you check in test mode or not.

Please explain herewith what are you doing actualy and in which stage you are getting error.

Try restarting the SAP instance and check.Also schedule the client copy in the background and increase the number of processes and check.

Hi

Paste the log here,

anyway Whenever u do client copy

schedule in the background job, because there will be no limit time

for background workprocess, when you run in dialog mode

check the parameter

rdisp/max_wprun_time by default it will be 600 seconds change it to 1200 or 1500 seconds so that u can complete the task.

It say that it does not exist.

apply the note 688024 using snote t-code then the program will be load into your system .

Hi Brian,

You need the follow the SAP Note 568784.

Basically this note say

1 To create an RFC, to create a connection between the target client and source client.

2 Use the transaction FINB_TR_DEST and maintain the destination in the table there

3 Than Try to copy the client.

It say that

open the note then download the correction into your local pc

excute snote >in the menu bar go to> upload sapnote

-->import the note
