transport dev to qa

Hi all,

I am planning to develop few interactive forms using WD for Java. I would like ot know the best practices used to transport this stuff.

is it mandatory to use NWDI to transport the Adobe interactive form WD applications? if so, do we need to have any extra software components that should be added to track specific to Adobe forms?

the other way that i know is to deploy the ear files respectively.

Appreicate your response.

Thanks

Hi Kumar,

If you have NWDI already setup, then use it; but its not required. You can simply deploy the EAR files in all the respective environments.

Hi Harman,

Thanks for your quick reply. If i want to use NWDI, do you think I need to add any specific software components to the track in NWDI that would be required by adobe interactive forms.

Thanks

No, none that I know of. When you're developing Adobe forms as part of your WebDynpro project, then the the Adobe form code (xdp files) just get embedded into your Web Dynpro project.

Harman
