Hi,
our customer has in mainly every department two shifts. Furthermore machinery is working 80h/5d; employees 37,5h/5h. Employees are a distinct ressource. This is also set up in the ressource calendar.
ByD's demand planing procedure somehow doesn't look at the ressource calendar. As we always have large quantities (production orders last up to 4 weeks, if correcty planned), ByD always takes approx. twice the time that is really needed.
This is no correct planning. Is there any solution to solve this?
