Our Client's want to Carry forward budget period wise in fund management. In Standard functionality there is no option for period wise carry forward. Please, Suggest how can we do it.
What is functional requirement behind this? Carry-forward is annual procedure and even in non-standard you cannot achieve period-based carry-forward in FM exactly as you cannot do it in FI. All totals tables in SAP are yearly-based.
You are just repeating what you asked in the thread. I understand that your client 'wants' it, but what is the functional explanation for this request? You should explain to your client that in SAP, like in every ERP system, all financial information is managed on yearly basis, when it comes to carry-forward of balances.
You can make a workaround, of course, managing it through reassignment, but it doesn't make much sense.
