Good Day Everyone,
Is it possible to lock a username/ password to one specific interface only?
When we use a sender SOAP channel, we set a username in PI wherein the 3rd party can connect to using the created password in PI. This username can be used by other 3rd party systems if they know the password for it.
Our plan would be to assign the username created in PI to one interface only so only that interface can use the username.
Is this at all possible?
Thanks!

Why can use a separate communication user with required roles without normal PI access?

Hi,
Create a specific user name and password and you can assign the same username in business component of any specific interface which you required. So, that specific user only able to access the specific interface.
Exactly in business component -->Assign users tab
