I create a job with the function module JOB_OPEN and use the statement SUBMIT and JOB_CLOSE.

In most cases, the job runs without problems.

But occasionally the job for no reason get the status scheduled.

The user has the authorization to create jobs! Where could be the cause?

Thanks and regards Frank

Hi,

Please pass the some value to strtdat(Date) and strtm(time) parameters to start the scheduled JOB. Follow the below screenshot.

Analyze the parameters provided in JOB_CLOSE.

If you mean the status "scheduled" being "preliminary/initial", it means that the user has not the authorization to release the job (S_BTCH_JOB jobaction='RELE')
