I will try to explain what exactly my question is.. I have seen lot of namespace(in esr) starts with "http" or "urn" followed by some texts. So my question is why it should always starts with "http" or "urn". Is there any specific reason apart from uniqueness.
Hi Andrew,
The namespaces in SAP PI are based on & used for XML namespaces. Namespaces starting with "http:" or "urn:" is not mandatory. It is just a convention. Because of the fact that it is based on XML standards, you can search for XML namespace conventions with your favorite search engine for further information.
You can read the full spec here: https://www.w3.org/TR/xml-names/
