Hi. Presuming you are using the ITS or another browser based access to SRM, 1 thing to watch out for is double clicking items.

If you are in internet explorer or another browser, items should be opened by single clicking.

If users are double clicking, we have found that the first click starts to open the item and creates a lock, then the second click tries to open it again and issues an error about it being locked by yourself.

If you log out and wait a while it should clear.

Dave.

Hi,

You are trying to login using webbrowser or GUI.

Please try to login with the same userid in the GUI and try to see the PO using BBP_POC from the GUI (hope you know it works with /n) . Try to find the PO number you are mentioning and try to change it from there. It should throw the same message if it is a SRM issue.

Where is the PO actually created in the backend or in the SRM system. Is it picking up the correct number range?

Hope your user exist in the orgstructure for that purchase organization and has a valid userid not locked.

Hi,

Seems like your userid is locking some entries.

Logon to SAPGUI with the administrator user and Go to SM12 and look for the lock entries for that userid and delete the locked ones.

Everytime from the SRM browser has to logoff and wait till the page is completely logged off.

Best regards,

Sridhar.
