access to query from code??

I'm trying to access to the query or table properties and fields from cystal code. Is it possible?For example, i want to access to the query or table recordcount, or a field value for hide the header text if there are not any records, or if the fields are null. Thanks!

what is your datasource a stored procedure?

do you have parameters in the report?

I need hide the text header if there are not records or all the fields are null. how can i know the number of records? can i access to the query or table properties from functions editor? Thanks!

you can export the report to a report definition which will show you the code the report uses. but im a bit unclear on what you are trying to do, see the formula that is surpressing data, or do you want to surpress items on the report is fields are null?
