I am using Crytal 10 and I recently lost visibility to my field explorer dialog box. I tried launching it via icon and menu path. Has anyone experienced this before and was able to resolve....Can someone please help?...Thanks

I had the same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled which worked for me, but then I found this suggestion https://boc.sdn.sap.com/node/2301 which doesn't require uninstall/reinstall.
It seems to have worked for others:
Right click in a blank area by the tool bars.Click toolbars in the drop down list.A tool bars dialog opensat the bottom click to place a check in the box that saysRestart all toolbars and explores on next restartClick OKclose Crystal reports Restart crystal reportsField explore reappered for meyou may have to click the view menu then - field explorer if it was closed to begin with - don't know about this mine was open the last time I closed before it disappeared.

can you set it back under view? did you look in the knowledge base for this?
