This question has been up quite a bit and has yet to be answered from what I see. I wanted to see if anyone has come up with a solution.
I have a text object that holds a variableThat variable is a formula that extracts a file location like:
server\folder1\folder2\folder3\file.pdfI then turn the text object into a file hyperlink and in the formula place the variable.This works great when I preview the report, file I want opens right up.The problem comes when I export to PDF. I open now in pdf and the hyperlink no longer works, it now has the file location of the current document in front of the file location that I would like to open.The only hyperlinks that seem to work when exporting are web.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
