Anyone experience this problem?

Hello to all,Has anyone experienced a problem with a CR report displaying properly when using a "Group Selection" formula? I'll run this report and see nothing, then I'll go back and do something like move a field, then fre-run it and the data displays. When the data doesn't display, I can still see the tree to the left indicating that records have been read and groups creaed. Very odd.David

I have cr XI, Developer, Full, my Product version is 11.5.9.1076.

I applied SP2, be sure to load CR after applying the patch. Your Icon for CR should change from what it was with the original CD copy. Then I applied SP3.

I had one machine, I had to remove CR, and start over from scratch before the updates would work.

From my experience, anytime you encounter strange issues like this, it is generally an installation issue of some kind. Re-Installing Crystal would probably be a good idea. However, before you do so, you should also check to make sure there are no critical updates etc for whatever version of windows you are running. Then, make sure you have administrative rights to the machine, as well as make sure that you disable any spyware or anti virus software you have running during the install. Once Crystal is installed, apply the latest hotfixes and service packs, and you should be good to go. - Davewww.BusinessSoftwareResource.com
