Deletion of Enhanced classes for a view of custom component in SAP CRM

Hi While adding an attribute to a view of a custom component in the component work bench, The attribute create wizard terminated with an error " View not enhanced or copied, Processing not possible"

So After some search, I found an article & added an entry in to the table BSP_WD_EXT_HIST and tried to add the attribute, Its successfully added but the view got enhanced( Controller class,Context class and context node class).

Now the requirement has been recalled by the client & We need to put the view as it is.So, deleted the fields, Code for that fields, Now we have to load the component work bench with the previous classes but not with the enhanced classes.

As this is a Custom component and all the views are custom ones there is no entry for this BSP Application in the view cluster BSPWDVC_EMP_EXT.

I have removed the entry which i maintained in the table BSP_WD_EXT_HIST.

Now i opened the view in the component work bench but the view is still getting loaded with the enhanced classes only.

If i go to SE80/SE24 and delete the enhanced classes(controller, context & Context node class) and open the component work bench and click on the view.. will the work bench load with the earlier non enhanced classes or will the work bench goes to the dump?

Please suggest me the best approach for this issue.

Hi Malleswar,

Could you cross check my understanding of your issue.

You are trying to add attribute to a context node not to a view- is this correct?

Now if your class has to got enhanced due to addition of this attribute , you can simply go to the definition section of context node class/context class/implementation class and delete all redefinition.

In the context node class you can simply go to definition section and remove the attributes.

Yes you are right i am trying to add an attribute to the context node only.

Will try to delete the redefnetions and will get back shortly.
