data delays

We are experiencing an unusual problem that currently is only affecting one report out of many we have posted in our Crystal Enterprise report portal. We are using version XI. I have a report that I originally designed in CR9 and recently brought into version XI. I just added one parameter to the report and had it posted back to the portal. This report runs off the live tables of a business system that is at the heart of our business. This means, normally if you change something about a record in the database, you will see that change immediately in the report. For some reason, there now appears to be a delay before we see the data change in the report.

The main purpose for this report is for our data entry folk to enter orders and to check their work before moving on to the next order. They are used to seeing the results of their work right away, but for some reason this report appears to have a bit of a lag time before you see the changes - maybe 30 minutes or so. Our latest guess is that the report is getting cached on the server and when the users refresh the report, they are still only seeing the cached version of the report until it eventually catches up. It's very odd and disconcerting to look in the tables and see the changed data and then to run the report and see the old data. Could you please give us some ideas as to where to look to make sure we have not set something wrong that might be causing this data delay? Again, it seems to be specific to this particular edition of this report. We have other reports that run off the live tables and they aren't experiencing this problem. Is it possible the report has become corrupted and is malfunctioning in the area of caching? I believe we have it properly set for being an on-demand report that should pull from the current, live data every time it is used.
