hi,

i am using crystal 11 and a .emf image.

I designed a report with a .emf image in the middle of the page, all looks well on my machine and indeed when i print it.

However..when the same report is loaded onto a colleagues machine and printed out the image strecthes itself and even loses say the bottom edge or far right edge. I have tried unchecking the "can grow" option and even locked position and size.

Any ideas, maybe it is a windows dll needed to support emfs?

The *.emf file is not natively supported by CRW (only bmp, tiff, jpg, png & wmf's are supported). Chances are, as you pointed out, you simply have installed suporting dll's your colleague does not. Additionally, when promoting this or other reports to a web server, the image may appear the same to others (as on your colleagues machine).

The best solution for this is to simply resave the image to a supported format.
