User 1 login onto terminal server, login into business system as user 1, run report which has a parameter, which has value of yes or no, user chooses yes and tabs off and yes is entered into parameter field and report works as expected.
User 2 login onto terminal server, login into business system as user 2, run report user chooses yes and tabs off and nothing is entered into parameter field and report does not work as expected.

My first thoughts are that it has something to do with secuirty - but at the point of selecting the parameter option what is happening behind the scene????
Any suggestions was to what could be causing problem would be appreciated
cheers

Just had a chance to try creating another parameters. Same result, it did expose something.
For the user2 which it does not work, I thought that the "ok" and "cancel" buttons worked - but they don't - I must have been clicking on "x" to close it.
So this means that for the user2 it's not working at all
So what's it looking for at this point??

Sorry, I will try and fill in the gaps
"run report user chooses yes and tabs off and nothing is entered into parameter field and report does not work as expected."
when the report is opened, a dailog screen appears with 2 boxes in it, one is a list box, with values "...","yes","no" - this box has the focus when the screen opens, selecting item and moving focus from this list box the value choosen is entered into the screen box and user click on "ok" and report is rendered.
"What are they using to run the report?"
We are running this from a product called Jiwa Financial Software. Jiwa is built using Microsoft development platform, .net accessing data from MS SQL Server 2000 server. The connection to the database is via odbc. Version of Crystal is XI.
if you need more information, please let me know.

How can they choose Yes and nothing is entered?
Do you mean that it turns blank after they choose it?
What are they using to run the report?
Please remember to state the software (what is Business System???) being used. It isn't incidental information, it helps to describe the situation/environment, and is the first question posed by technical support people.
How can we describe what is going on in the background when we don't know what's in the foreground???
