Issue using RTC in S4HANA 1709 with multiple client landscape

Landscape:

Client 001: BW and BPC (cross client)

Client 100: S4HANA configuration

Client 200: S4HANA data

Steps followed during config:

1. Created model in RTCMD in client 100 and generated views

2. Created VP based on "RTC_C_100<model>_BPCUNION" calculation view and all other configs like CP/AL created on VP in client 001

3. Configured BPC model based on step 2 in client 001

4. Assigned model and environment to RTC model in client 100 and activated the model.

5. Transported the RTC model from client 100 to 200 and regenerated the views.

Issue:

After regeneration of views in client 200, the view on which VP was based is being rendered useless as new view is generated with name "RTC_C_200<model>_BPCUNION" and VP is based on "RTC_C_100<model>_BPCUNION"

Now it is not possible to go back and change the HANA view in VP in client 001 and now we are stuck. We have already checked note 2550172 - Client Setup in Real-Time Consolidation but it is not helping us.

Can anyone help us how to solve this issue

Regards,

Amit

    Hi ,

BW objects work cross client, don't name any object specific to client. Once you go to target client , you will have to re-activate the model.

E.g. you have done customizing in first client 100, and then you import all the objects to 200 (which are client dependent using a transport request and SCC1.)After that you can do everything in client 200 as you could do in client 100. YOu need to switch the BW client after import to 200 by standard function module to reset BWADMINA table entry to 200.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks

    Rakesh
