I want to show single colomn of database as a multiple colomns in report

I want to show a single colomn of database as a multiple colomns in report.

For example, I am having 15 records, i want to show in three colomns in report.

Colomn

1xxxxxxx 6xxxxxxx 11xxxxxxx

2xxxxxxx 7xxxxxxx 12xxxxxxx

3xxxxxxx 8xxxxxxx 13xxxxxxx

4xxxxxxx 9xxxxxxx 14xxxxxxx

5xxxxxxx 10xxxxxx 15xxxxxxx

    In section expert select details and then click format with multiple columns. Then in the layout you will have to play with the settings. I have made 2 column reports but not 3 so unsure of what the settings would be. Hope that helps.

    when i am export data in excel data only format, it is exporting data in single colomn only.

    if i exporting PDF it working fine.

    Can it possible to show many colomns in excel data only format also.

    Are you using MS Excel 97 - 2000 or MS Excel 97 - 2000 (Data only)? I am able to get multiple columns when using MS Excel 97 - 2000. If you want grid lines be sure to check the box.

    I need to export in MS Excel 97 - 2000 (Data only) format.

    After exporting excel format, i have to call marco on that excel work book.

    I suggest that you have a parameter to ask the user if they want it for display or exporting to excel data only.

    Crystal is doing precisely what you ask of it, it puts the same field into a single column, that's the point of data only. So the problem is your understanding, not crystal.

    With a parameter you could suppress/unsuppress different sections that had the data appropriately laid out for the choices.
