show missing fields

Post Author: DMUNOZ

Hello everyone, I am fairly new to cr9 and I need to build a report that will show me all of the missing events for each employee. Examples of the two tables I have with the fields are listed below. Right now I have a left join link from Events PersonIDNo to EmployeePersonIdNo but all it gives me is the Events they already have. I have tried writing an ISNull Formula but that does not work it because it will only say false for the events that are in place but it will not show me the missing events any help will be much appreciated.

Events Employee

PersonIdNo PersonIdNo

EventCodeIdNo FullName

EventCodeType Person TaxIDNO

Thanks

I am having the exact same problem with employee training records. It's easy to see what they have attended but I am having a terrible time trying to create a report indicating training that an employee has not attended. Please let me know if you figure out a way . . .

Are you using a Left Outer Join?
