I have a subreport that is in a group footer of my main report but I can't seem to get it to work the way I want. My first group is Provider Code, my 2nd group is Procedure Type. I have a subreport in my procedure type footer that I have linked by the parameters starting and ending provider and starting and ending dates. I want the subreport to only return the values of provider for the group that it is on, but it is returning for all providers. I tried putting my grouping in the subreport but then it doesn't work the way I want it to with the rest of the report. Is there a way to pass the Provider field for just the group it is on? When the report is run the user may enter one or many provider codes. Thank you for any help.

I have already tried that. I passed in my starting and ending provider parameters and start and end date parameters and set up my Selection Formulas in the subreport but it still sends back all providers. I just want it grouped by provider like on the main report.

Yes. Click on the subreport, and click "change subreport links", then pass in the parameters you want into the subreport. Make the selection query in the subreport based on these parameters, to only show records you want.
