Hi,

I installed Crystal Reports 11.0 (Service Pack 2) twice & to my surprise I still can't find OR reference to :

Crystal ActiveX Report Viewer Library 11.0 (CrViewer.dll)

AND

Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer Design and Runtime Library 11.0 (Craxdrt.dll).

But I can reference to 'Crystal ActiveX Report Viewer Library 10.2' AND 'Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer Design and Runtime Library 10.2(Craxddrt.dll)'.

What could be the reason for this problem. And also as per the help files I should be able to reference from

\Program Files\Common Files\BusinessObjects\3.0\CrystalReportViewers11\ActiveXControls' . But I can't find this 'ActiveXControls' directory inside the 'CrystalReportViewers11' directory.

I can reference to both this objects but from '2.7' folder but not from '3.0' folder from the above mentioned path due to which I'm referencing to a previous version i.e. 10.2.

For your information I've VB6 (SP6), .net 2005 & SQL Server 2005 in machine.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanx,

AZEEM.

You''ll need the Developers edition, I had the Professional and they were not part of it.

Hi,

Sthambir, thanx for the reply. I'm too forced to believe that it may not be available as I've come across the Crystal Reports comparison of Editions (comparison between different editions like professional, developer etc.). I've found there that the professional edition doesn't support visual basic 6.

Anyways I'm thinking to upgrade to Developer edition but the question is, 'Is there no ways to work with the present edition(professional) with vb 6'?

Thanx,

AZEEM

Hi Azeem,

Probably you would have installed CR11 standard edition. These dll's come with developer edition. I am not sure if they come with professional edition. Someone else can please confirm on this!

The 10.2 dlls come with you VS2005 installations.

Sthambir
