hello,

we are using our current SAPRouter system for providing connection to SAP. And our all incoming connections from sapserv2 to saprouter are coming on port 3299 by default.

Now we have a requirement to provide an RFC connection of our ECC system to an external vendor using saprouter string.

But we want that incoming connection from that external vendor should come on a different port lets say 3199.

So, Is this supported or possible that we start a second saprouter sevice on a different port lets say 3199 for external vendor communication while connection from sapserv2 still comes on 3299 as it is.

Regards

GSharma

Hello Gagan Sharma,

You can have multiple router in your environment as long as they can hit from outside via VPN/Internet you will be fine.

Let me know if you have more question on it.

Hi Gagan Sharma,

It's possible to install a second SAPRouter and start it with a different port; the key feature is in the following syntax:

Windows/UNIX: saprouter -r -S <port>

For example:

saprouter -r -S 3199 ...

Alec
