Sorting on a formula

Hi can anyone hlep me on this.

I will give you the layout of the report

Group

Group name3 Count of number1 Sum of number2 Calculation (sum of number1 / Count of Number)

Details

Name1 name2 name3 Number1 Number2(if number1 < 4 then 1 or 0)

What i am trying to do is sort the only show the group info which i can do fine but i want it to sort on the calculation outcome high to low.

Is there any way i can do this?

    did you try using the sort expert or creating a group from the formula?

    I am affraid not.the field is a caculation of two fields in my group but does not appear in my group sort at all

    Hi Nick,

    What formula are you sorting on? For instance, if you're sorting on "Sum_of_Number1 / Count_of_Number" then

    you'll only get one number (...the average), so there's nothing for Crystal to sort on. What "high/low" formula are

    you trying to sort on?
