Dears Exerts,

We are facing an issue durant the DM_ST1000_APPLSERV installation.

After we have installed IIS 7 and .Net 4.5.1appserver-install-log-2018-01-30-01-05-14.txterror.jpg

This error is displayed when we try to install DM_ST1000_APPLSERV "Installation Management ErrorSome tables are missing in database"

Please find attached the error and Technical Logs

Thanks

Ayoub

Hello Ayoub,

You ran the upgrade with an incorrect DB user/pwd

13:11:26 Error Initial Database Preparation Cannot open database "DMTOTAL" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'sa'.

Most likely a wrong password entered for 'sa'

Dear Marc,

I would lik to thank you for youyr answer,

I have installed directly the DM_ST1100_APPLSERV.EXE.

I have checked the password for sa with creting an odbc datasource, the connection is done successfully.

I have also installed SqlCmdLnUtils and sqlncli, however i have the same error.

I don't uderstand why Cannot opendatabase"DMTOTAL" When it try to InitialDatabase

Best Regards

Hello Ayoub,

Ok - interesting.... I've never seen where "sa" does not have these rights.

Surely, the system administrator (sa) has all rights on all databases ?

Anyway, glad you got it resolved :)

Marc
