Filtering by DNIS_DIGIT

Post Author: richard shields

Hi,

First post - so here we go. My company has a report using the Agent Application Detail View for Daily, Weekly and Monthly call stats. We are looking to simplify our prompter by sending calls from different areas through the same appication. W would however still prefer to have stats for various areas - each area is handled by a different DNIS so if we could run this same report filtered by DNIS we could see how the different areas are doing. I am guessing that by puting something in the filter area before running the report will enable us to get those stats. I am also guessing DNIS_DIGIT is the element we need to filter by. So what is the format I need to enter in the filter area? Lets assume the DNIS # is 1000.

I would copy the existing report and save out as new name. Take the new name report and add a group (Group on Dnis), you can then go to the details section, click on fields, and insert a summary into your Group footer (Dnis), supress your details, and run the report, you should get totals, by group (Dnis). If this does not suit your needs, then the way to write the select is ..... = 1000

Got this error when I tried to run the report with the dnis_digit in it

=3000' This field name is not known. Details: errorKind. File E:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 10\Data\procSched\nycto1-aplaq004.reportjobserver\~tmp1b104ffc8deaff0.rpt

Could it be this reports Business View does not include the dnis_digit?
