Provider-Specific Properties for InfoSets

Experts,

We have BEx reports created from InfoSets and would like to change the data field name at this level (not the underlying InfoObject, DSO, MultiProvider or Cube, etc..). We want the change to affect all the reports using the specific InfoSets but not every report using an underlying DSO/InfoObject that may be part of an InfoSet. A field like 0Material for example may need 3 different user friendly names based on the InfoSet used.

Is this possible? Changing text at the query level is not desired due to the sheer number of reports.

Hi,

That is not possible, but what you could do is to create a multiprovider on your infoset and change the things over there.

Thanks for the confirmation that it isn't possible on the DSO.

I wish we could take the multiprovider course of action, but unfortunately it would require re-creating the reports on the various multiproviders that would need to be built.
