Problems registering Central Deployment Repository

I am trying to configure CD Repository in Global Settings in the System Landscape Directory in SBO 9.3 PL02

Every time I try to save it, it says Selected shared folder is not reachable

I have connected from another computer and the folder is reachable.

I have tried IP, named address, tried from another computer, another user, and still not been able to configure it. Any suggestions?

Hello,
I had exactly the same problem, despite the account can access the shared folder from Windows file exlorer. I pass login in this way:

Network Path*:\\sap-server\SAP_B1_CD
Access User Name*:mydomain\brumik
Access User Password*: *********

did not work!

Network Path*:\\192.168.21.120\SAP_B1_CD
Access User Name*:mydomain\brumik
Access User Password*: *********

works!

So if you want to use hostname instead of IP, You have to edit /etc/hosts on Linux server and put there new line:
192.168.21.120 sap-server
