I have an issue when copying data from one info structure to another.
Process flow:
They are entering the forecast in monthly buckets in an info structure (S920). Then they are transferring it to a target info structure (S976). From there they are transferring the data to demand management.
Previously the client were not transferring the SOP data based on fiscal year variants. The requirement would be created on the first day of each month. Now they have changed their periods and have updated the Fiscal year variant (period will start and end randomly eg. March 3rd to April 5th).
So as requirement has to be created as per the fiscal year variant, i changed the periodicity of S920 and S976 to P and included the fiscal year variant. Now when i run the copy job the forecast is not copied from S920 to S976. When i reset the periodicity of source S920 alone to M and when i ran the copy job, the quantity is getting splitted (for example if i entered 10000 KG for 2nd Month in S920, after copying to S976 it is getting splitted to 3796 KG in period 1 and 6204 KG in period 2, instead of whole 10000 KG getting copied to period 2).
Please help me to understand what is going wrong here?
