CA Forum: Exporting
I currently have a report that I runs in crystal reports 10. When I export the report to notepad, I get a little square that shows up on all pages except the first one. The square I believe is an illegal ASCII character that shows up in the page header in front of text I have. I think this square is representing the page breaks in a report. I have gone to the section expert and removed all Page Break Line before and after check boxes except for the Report Header and Footer, which are greyed out.
My question is how do I get rid of this so it doesn't appear at all in the results of my export to notepad?

V361:You could try changing the font in note pad, some fonts will not support the squares ⌂
The square is just letting you know that it's a 'non-printable' character. In order to resolve the issue it may help to know exactly what character is being repeated. If you have a different text editor (eg. UltraEdit) that will allow you to view everything as hex you should be able to figure out what the mystery character is.
