Multiple BW ABAP systems connected to one BW Java system

Hello Experts,

In our landscape we have 6 productive BW landscapes (ABAP and JAVA) version 7.4. We are in process of moving our BW ABAP systems to HANA. I was wondering if we can use just 1 BI JAVA system instead of 6 in our landscape. This makes it easier to manage.

I have read some conflicting information online that only BW ABAP system can work as master (SAP_BW connection). As per SAP Note 1981917; one master BW system configuration can be overridden as of 7.3x; however it would be great if anyone can let me know if they have done such a configuration successfully. or if there is any wiki available for this.

Yes, you can ... connect several SAP BW System connect to on single BI-JAVA Instance.
