Hi All,
Recently, I was asked to convert an Access 97 mdb to Acess 2003. It is part of a VB6 and Crystal 6 project. Currently, all Crystal reports run against Access 97. I sucessfully converted the mdb to Access 2003; however, when I run existing Crystal reports (in Crystal Report Designer) against the new mdb it gives me "File could not be found: "qryRptAcctMaint", at file location: "qryRptAcctMaint" error. I checked the (new) Acess 97 mdb, and qryRptAcctMaint is there. Anyone out there seen this error before? Thanks in advance for any input.

You are right. Crystal 6 is an ancient version. I mentioned that to my management. But right now, they are only concern with Access 97 because it is no longer supportted by the company.
Crystal 6 does have the Database -> Verfiy Database function. I ran it, and it gives me: File coud not be opened: "qryAcctMaint", at file location: "C:\Data....." . I checked the location it's referred to; it's a valid directory.

Crystal Reports version 6 is such an ancient version you may have compatibility problems. In CR8.0 (the oldest version I have access to) there is a function Database -> Verify Database. If a similar feature exists in CR6, have you tried it?
