Crosstab Forcing to Summarize

Any help would be appreciated! It's been a while since I've done a cross tab. I'm trying to apply non-summarized data to a cross tab that's in the group footer. However, the crosstab forces me to summarize.

GH1

GH2 {Time Period}

GH3{Time Entry}

I made the chart OnChange on the Time period. When I placed the crosstab in the GH1 footer, I'm forced to summarized the value. I'm trying to get the cross tab to show time periods at the top, with values (hrs data) for each time period. Should I move the crosstab somewhere else?
