Error: Print Time Formula that modifys variables is used in chart or map

Hi

I am converting reports from Crystal 8.5 to Crystal 11 and I am receiving the following error on one of my charts:

Print Time formula that modifys variables is used in chart or map.

The summary in the Chart Expert section is a Max function of formula X

Formula X reads: {#RTNumberCount} % Sum({FieldA, {@MonthGroup})

The chart runs perfect in Crystal 8.5; no errors

Any suggestions?

Good deal, this is caused by the way 8.5 read the records and the way the new versions read records. (Sure can be a pain)

Thanks for the reply to my post. I ended up rewritting the formulas so that Running Totals were no longer used - that seemed to do the trick Thanks again

you could try adding

whileprintingrecords;

to the start of the formula, can't promise this will fix it since I do not have CR 8.5 to try it out on.
