Hi Gurus,

May i please ask kindly for some assistance with an area im stuck on. Before we go any further however i just want to clarify that i have checked SCN already for answers to this questions but couldn't find it so please forgive me if its already listed and point me in the right direction.

The issue I am having is i need to create an EAM Controller agent rule for an access request workflow. Unfortunately there is no standard one i can use so i have to create a brfplus rule, however im not sure the logic to use.. any suggestions?

I know that there is a controller agent rule for the EAM Log report review process id but when i try to copy the rule details into my access request process ID, i get "invalid agent id "error". I take it this means i cannot use this rule and must create a custom agent rule.?

Any help would be much appreciated

Kind regards
Chris

Hello Chris,

Please create separate agent rule for access request process id and use the function rule id from BRF+ in MSMP workflow for access request.

Hi Baithi,

Thank you for your reply. Could you please assist me in understanding how I can find the rule id in BRFplus and I could not locate it?

In the Log Report Process Id, the Agent Rule for finding the EAM Controller is the FM GRAC_MSMP_SPM_CNTRL_AGENT. Is it possible to create a new agent ID for the Access Request Process ID leveraging this FM? I tried to do so using GRFNMW_DEV_RULES but was prompted to create a new function group and once I did, the activation resulted in errors in the statement. When I tried to use the existing function group, I am prompted to use an access key.

Is there any other way I could create this agent rule?

Thanks so much for your help

Chris

Hi Baithi,

Thanks heaps for your suggestion :-)

Unfortunately, what im after is how to create an Agent Rule based off an existing Function Module? Is it correct that I have to create a new Function group or can use the existing one but have to use an access key to do so or am I doing this wrong?

Thanks,

Chris
