Unable to find the MobileApplications for Laptop perspective in NWDS7.1SP05

HI,

I have downloaded NWDS 7.1 SP05 using the link

https://nwds.sap.com/swdc/downloads/updates/netweaver/nwds/ce/710/NWDS_platform.html, and i

have downloaded the NWMCLIENTSETUP05P_1-10004844 from service market place. I have installed the both NWDS and client.

After that i navigate to the Mobile Pluginsfolder in NWMCLIENTSETUP05P_1-10004844 folder and extract the contents of the following files and placed them in the u2026Program Files\SAP\IDE\CE\eclipse\plugins folder

com.sap.tc.mobile.mwd.tools.projsys.ecp

com.sap.tc.mobile.dt.mbomodel.ecp

com.sap.tc.mobile.dt.cfswrap.ecp

com.sap.tc.mobile.dt.core.ecp

com.sap.ip.me.mdk.developmentTools.ecp

and i followed the help link [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/8b/0b674240449c60e100000001550b0/frameset.htm].

but after installiation of the IDE we didnt find com.sap.tc.ap folder in .....eclipse/plugins folder also.

finally i could able to find the following only in the Windows-->Preferences

1. General

2. Help

3. Install/Update

4. Run/Debug

5. Team

please help me out.

Hi,

did you install any updates from the updatesite for NWDS? If yes, which feature(s) have you installed? Please check if there is a subfolder in the plugins starting with "com.sap.tc.ap...." There also can be a suffix in the folder name.

hi,

if you are using sp5 try search for com.sap.tc.ap_2.0.1.080516143530

. Or others with the com.sap.tc.ap follow by the version. And another thing that you need to watch on is after you unzip the plugin make sure don't have duplicate folder name.
