Is there an upgrade from crystal reports 8.5 to crystal reports 10?
Thanks!

This is in CR XI, go to Report | Performance Information | Report Definition | The file format schema says 11, which I am assuming is the CR version. Not 100% sure though.
On another note, not to sound like a BO salesman, they do offer an upgrade to XI for only $99. Check this out. http://www.businessobjects.com/jump/cr/rare/default.asp?intcmp=corphp_cr_rare_na

Hi,
Actually, that's a good point. I guess I'll upgrade to 11 then.
Would you know if there is a way to tell which version a rpt file is?
Thanks

1. I doubt it. You may be able to read it but if the report uses functionality available only in CR 10 then you will lose it.
2. Yes.
3. Not sure if you can still upgrade to 10 but is there a reason why you would not upgrade to CR XI but would rather upgrade to a lower version?
