Crystal Enterprise 8 - Can't log on to Crystal Management Console

Have re-installed CE8 on a new server and want to get into the Management Console to check licences etc.

When I try to enter the user credentials on the logon screen (User - Administrator, Password - blank) it returns the screen asking me to "Enter your user name and password..."

Incidentally, if I put something in the password box, it tells me the password is invalid.

Any clues?
