Scheduled reports to print only when they contain data?

Does anyone know if it is possible to set something up within the scheduler so that the reports only print when there is data? We have cover pages that print before the scheduled reports, so in Business Objects 5.1 we were able to attach a macro to the report and it would run telling the scheduler not to print the document if there was no data. Since macros can no longer be attached to scheduled documents in XI, we haven't been able to find a way to incorporate the same logic into our scheduled reports.

Yes it can be done. Thirst you make a job with a query on your dbms which creates a txt file when true but another when falseExample:If(Select count(*)From ????) >0//address/true.txtElse//address/false.txt(before //address you have put to something to make it possible to create a txt file. I only have this fore sql server.)After this you have to make an event in CMC which checks on //address/true.txtWhen you schedule a report with an event it will only make the report when there is data. You have to schedule the report with event before that the txt file is created. Also you need a job which removes the txt files.I hope this will answer your question
