    Home>BusinessObjects Enterprise Applications>InfoView

    go to the "Rights"

    add a user or group

    click advanced

set "Log on to InfoView and view this object in the CMC " to Excplicity Denied

    that works fine with me

    Thanks for posting

But this causes that the user could completly not log on to infoview. The user should use the infoview but not MYINFOVIEW.

sorry i've got you wrong,, you want to deactivate only the MYINFOVIEW,, and from a specific user,, i dont think that there is something like that, but i think there is some option to edit in some XML files which give you the ability to deactivate it,, but it will be over all the systm, not for a specific user, and also its a risk for ur system support i think so

    good luck
