We upgraded from BOXI R1 to R2 this week and applied service packs 1 and 2. After several issues which we have worked through and resolved, we have one remaining. When I go into the Central Management Console to configure Windows AD Authentication, all I get is the following error message:
Error retrieving info for Windows AD authentication: Unable to get SI_SSO_VENDOR property value
I can find no reference to this error anywhere here on the BO site, in newsgroups or a general web search. When trying to use an AD login in Infoview, I get "Security plugin error: Failed to set parameters on plugin." This error does have documents associated it with it, but those indicate that SP2 should fix this error.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks,Tom Miller

Thanks again, Tim.
The update has completed and we can now use our AD logins.

Thanks, Tim. I am running that process now - it is taking a long time.
I thought I had run it during the original migration, but apparently not - we had a lot of issues with the upgrade and had to run it a couple of times, so I probably ran it on one of the first attempts, but not on this last one.
I will post again with results of this.
Sorry for the post to the wrong forum - I assumed this was a security issue more than a migration issue.

Hi Tom,
I believe that error is due to your database not being updated to XIR2. You should be able to run the update objects on the CCM to update the database. Thing is when migrating this way sometimes the update objectrs fails. If this is the case then you will need to migrate via import wizard.
Also FYI migration issues should be posted in the deployment forum

Tim
