Here is the environment:BOE XI R2 w/ SP1 running on Windows 2000 server, IIS 5.0Using Windows AD authentication to log onto InfoviewWindows 2000 and Windows XP on user workstationsHere is the problem:When I access my URL to Infoview, I receive a Windows popup "Enter Network Password" that prompts for user name, password, and domain, respectively. Above the user name is "Site: " followed by the URL to Infoview. When I enter my credentials and click OK, I am repeatedly prompted for the network logon. After 3 attempts, I receive an error page "You are not authorized to view this page. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied. HTTP 401.1 - Unauthorized: Logon Failed Internet Information Services." The Infoview URL has been added as a trusted site on my local machine's browser. Before the problem occurred, we enabled integrated windows authentication, modified the web.config file and configured the appropriate BOE services to run under the domain account. However, within the CMC we only enabled single sign-on for selected authentication mode & used NTLM. We did not activate the Kerberos authentication, because we will configure SSO to the database later. With this setup, everything has been working fine until we recently registered the service principal name on the domain controller. Could this have caused my problem? I'm able to access the URL through Citrix Metaframe with no problem. Also, there are two users (one is an admin & one isn't) who are able to logon directly through IE without the network prompt. Please help!
