I have Visual Studio 2005 installed on my system which came with Crystal 10.2 version. I have some reports already developed in Crystal 11 version. When I open the report in VS2005 I get an error that report is created in later version of crystal. I installed Crystal XI Professional edition and tried but still get the same message.I searched online for answers and everyone suggests to d/l XI RL2 with SP2. I did the same but still no luck. I am not able to find the crystal XI DLL's to reference in VS2005. Can some one help in solving this?
First thing to do is ensure that you've installed Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Developer edition, and not the Professional edition.The SDK components are available only with the Developer edition.Sincerely,Ted Ueda
