Visual Studio 2008 - CR XI R2

I have visual studio 2008 and CR XI R2 installed on my development

machine, and we have a RAS server set up with CR XI, when I try to run

a report on the RAS server I get a com error that says,

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Ln 1 Col 1: Invalid

document structure. Does my development version of CR need to be the same version as the one on the RAS server? Any other ideas would be appreciated.

The development version should be the same version as your RAS.This will lead to the following limitations:1. CR XI Release 2 isn't supported with Visual Studio 20082. CR XI Release 1 isn't supported with .NET Framework 3.5, 3.0 or 2.03. CR XI Release 1 is fully supported with Visual Studio 2003. Sincerely,Ted Ueda
